Iran moves up in FIFA rankings

Iran moved one place up in the latest world rankings issued by FIFA.

The team is sixth among the Asian teams in the rankings, behind Australia, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain respectively.
Iran has moved up to 63rd in the world rankings with 499 points.
Spain remains top of the rankings with 1627 points and Brazil, the Netherlands, Italy and Portugal are in order in the following places.
Egypt, who claimed the title of the African Nations Cup in Angola, leapfrogged 14 places in the rankings
